Our 76 year old dad and grandpa of six survived a devastating house fire and is now recovering in the hospital with no home or belongings to return to.

On January 31st our dad survived a house fire in Murrieta that left him hospitalized with severe smoke inhalation. While we are deeply grateful he is alive, his recovery will take time.

The fire caused major damage to his home and destroyed many of his personal belongings. Unfortunately, his insurance will only cover repairs to the house itself, not the personal items he lost or a place to stay while he recovers. This means he has no home to return to and no coverage for basic necessities.

Our dad lives on a fixed income and has always been independent. Asking for help is not easy, but this situation is more than he can manage alone.
