After moving to America, my family and I got a border collie puppy from a local farm. Since then, he has been a big part of our family over the last decade--he is the first ever pet that we have had, and this has been a totally new experience for everyone. He is sweet, friendly, energetic, smart, and outgoing, and our friends and neighbors all love him! Moreover, he has been my major support as I navigate the new environment, learn a new language, and struggle to make friends.

Over these years, we also got a golden retriever and adopted a cat from a local animal shelter where my twin sister used to work. We have been trying our best to support animals around us within our abilities. However, a few months before turning ten years old, our border collie was diagnosed with lymphoma (lymphatic cancer), and he has been losing weight, losing energy, and vomiting frequently after ingesting food.

With providing tuition to two people in the household, including annual fees for the three pets, it has been a burden, and we would like to start a funding for people to help if possible. Although there are other options such as clinical trials, the wait time is extremely long (up to 1+ month), and lymphoma is a type of cancer that spreads very fast, considering our dog is already at stage 4.
