Help Our Bands Thrive and Inspire Excellence

Nordonia Bands is a competition band that travels throughout the region to compete in Ohio Music Education Association and Bands of America. These, and many other activities, build morale with our students and provide an educational experience that will last a lifetime. Between transportation, lodging, and food, these trips cost well over $30,000 per season and are completely funded by fundraising activities, as the school music education department does not cover these expenses.

Another financial burden is also placed on the students' families, as band fees that cover uniforms, instruction, design, facilities, band camp, etc. These fees tend to exceed $1,000 per student, and many families struggle to pay them, and their children could potentially be denied participation if they’re not paid.

The band consistently makes the high school proud by earning Superior ratings at these competitions, but funds are running low, and we’re asking for your help to keep the students' music educational experience alive.
