I hate that I even have to make a post like this but a couple weeks ago Jawaun and I found out our babygirl has a rare congenital heart defect called Taussig Bing but it’s a little worse than what you’ll find on google about the condition itself.. because of this rare occurrence her aorta is way smaller than they thought it would be she wont be able to pump any blood through her body so when she is born she will have to have immediate heart surgery and if they can’t do that then it’s straight to the heart transplant list she will be hooked to machines for a while unless they are able to do a successful surgery we will have to deliver her in Chicago at Luries and they will do everything possible to give our babygirl the best chances to live and im trying to cope the best I can but on top of all this news we are now worried about our financial stability being that we will have to travel to Chicago a few times before she is born and stay there a while after she’s born we wanted to start a go fund me just to maybe help out a little to keep our home maintained while we’re gone because we will both have to miss work and neither of our jobs have paid leave i don’t like to ask for help but I believe we will need as much help as we can get when the time comes there are programs we can get into after she is born to help us out but in the meantime I just wanted to try the plan is to induce me when the time comes so I can already be in Chicago and they can take her straight into surgery but on the off chance I have her early they will have to life flight her to Chicago it’s just a lot that I’m not prepared for and I don’t really know how to get prepared for it all funds will go toward gas and home expenses until assistance is available to us
