Our sweet 1-year-old Frenchie, Pua, is the tiny heartbeat of our home. He’s the little shadow who follows us everywhere, the warm cuddles on the couch, the goofy energy that fills every room. If you’ve ever met him, you know — Pua loves everyone. His whole body wiggles when he’s happy, and his joy is so pure it’s impossible not to smile back.

A few days ago, everything changed. Pua suddenly became tired, wouldn’t eat, and stopped playing. He didn’t even lift his head when we called his name — something he’s never done. We rushed him to the vet, hoping for a simple answer. Instead, we heard the words we never imagined: “Pua has parvo.” Parvo is fast, aggressive, and life-threatening — especially for a young Frenchie. But even through the nausea, the weakness, and the hospital stay, Pua is still fighting with everything he has. When we visit him, he tries to wag his little tail. He looks at us with those big, trusting eyes, as if saying: “I’m not giving up.” And neither are we.

We are doing everything possible to save him — IV fluids, medication, constant monitoring — but the vet bills are rising quickly. We’re not the type to ask for help, but Pua means the world to us. He deserves the chance to grow up, to run, to play, to give his silly kisses and live the long, happy life he was meant to have.
