Help our anglers get to Bassmaster HS Nationals
Donation protected
Hello everyone!
One of the Lincoln-Way Central Angler’s Club teams has qualified to fish the Bassmaster High School National bass fishing tournament on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, SC from August 7-14, 2022. The HS will not kick in any money and although we currently have a some money left in our activities account from our fundraising and sponsor donations, that isn’t enough and we need that money for next season, until we can do our winter fundraisers to replenish it. We originally wanted to raise at least another $3,000+ to cover fuel, food, and accommodations for the trip. We are going to do down to practice on the lake at the end of June and. Could use another $2,000 for that trip. With fuel costs at such high prices it will be nearly $1,500 just in fuel costs for the drive down and for the boat during the 6 days on the water. We need accommodations and food for 4 people as we will be bringing 2 boat captains just in case the primary captain gets Ill or something else. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these young anglers and I really don’t wanted to ask them to foot the bill. Our club participates in the annual Take a Veteran fishing tournament, donates time to the New Lenox Library kids fishing classes, volunteers at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and participates in local clean efforts at local parks and ponds. Thanks for any donation you would like to make. We will greatly appreciate it.
