Our beloved angel had a terrible accident while playing her favorite sport, soccer. The incident occurred 4 days ago, where she was running to retrieve the ball and hit her head head-on with a light bulb. The yelps she made are scarring for life and unfortunately are imprinted on my brain.

We went to the vet and she is currently suffering from dilated pupils and paralysis in her back legs. Our bills have already reached 10k through hospital stays, MRI, and X-rays. They are still trying to diagnose what’s going on with her.

Now we are home and I can’t take leave from work because she doesn’t qualify as a family member to take care of when this is the only family I have and she is my whole life.

I’ve taken a leave with no job protection but I don’t care. It’s worth it to me, I can’t leave her to fend for herself when she can’t walk at all at the moment.

The reason why we are posting on here is for help with physical therapy bills. As of right now, this is our only current option to get her somewhat back to where she was.

We are hoping to play soccer soon someday, but until then we are resting and working on our health.
