Help our Alison with medical expenses.

We, Dave and Fran, are fundraising for our daughter Alison, who we greatly love. She has been ill with post COVID for over a year and still is plagued with multiple ongoing symptoms. She has been traveling back and forth to a COVID specialist in Boston. Due to this she is unable to work. Just this week she found out that she also has a mass behind her iris and will be heading to Boston Mass. Eye And Ear to see the best doctors possible. Here in Maine they could not help her. She and her husband Ryan have always been hard workers and never ask for help. Time is short and the bills are accumulating quickly. Alison and Ryan need to focus on her healing and not worry about overwhelming bills. They definitely need help now for medical bills, traveling expenses and everyday expenses. Update on our Alison:
First and foremost, thanks to each and every one of you who has contributed to Alison’s Go Fund Me. Your generous support has uplifted all of us in every way! (Photo: Boston hotel with us this past week) She has had numerous appointments with many specialists, including a recent trip to Mass. Eye and Ear, where they determined she has a mass/lesion behind her iris. At this time it is small and they want to check again in six months, when they will determine further treatment. Her vision is getting worse in both eyes, as are her hearing problems - most likely post covid symptoms. Next week back to Mass. Eye and Ear to see an ear specialist. She will also see Dr. Hanak (the post covid specialist). He is very concerned about her increasing autonomic symptoms. She is also being scheduled for autonomic tests at Brigham and Women’s in Boston. 

She still has a very long journey ahead of her. She has already been to Boston five times, for a minimum of a two night stay each time. She also has endless medical visits at home in Maine, remarking recently that it’s a “full time job”. Even with insurance, her share of costs for visits, travel and testing is astronomical. We really hope we can reach the $10,000 goal, or hopefully more.
