From Ukraine to Hawaii. Mahalo for support
Donation protected
As the war has tethered this family, we seek kōkua (help) to build a foundation of hope for a reunion. We hope to gain awareness of her family's journey from Ukraine to the Hawaiian islands by providing a structure of support to this extended 'ohana.
As a native of Ukraine, Vlada resides and works in Hawaii in Skin Care. Immersion to the islands has empowered Vlada to help others, and now we want to help her.
Vlada's home country of Ukraine has seen nearly 13 million families displaced by war. As the war separated her immediate family and they faced many unknowns. Her father and 21-year-old brother could not leave Ukraine; while her mother and 13-year-old brother fled to the Czech Republic safely.
Over the past five months, Vlada has been on a journey to get her mother and younger brother to a safe place of refuge in America. We are so delighted to report that they have just landed in Hawaii.
Establishing a new life in the states is no easy task but being with family is what truly matters. At this time, we are gathering funds to support this transition. We hope to provide a nest of support for the long road ahead.
Would you consider making a difference and providing support? Every donation is a step of security, impact, and relief.
From our 'ohana to yours, we thank you for your kōkua. Mahalo nui.
