Our beloved Abuela Wawa is 82 years old and still incredibly active, independent, and full of life. She is the heart of our family and “Abuela Wawa” to everyone who knows her.

She was recently diagnosed with advanced cataracts in both eyes, along with significant astigmatism, high myopia, and glaucoma. Because of her glaucoma and complex vision needs, her case requires extra precision and the best possible visual correction surgery to protect and preserve the vision she has.

The total out-of-pocket cost for both eyes is $8,000.

Abuela Wawa has spent her entire life caring for others. Now we are asking for help to give her the gift of vision and continued independence.
