Camping Trip
Hello! For more than 20 years, our graduating eighth graders have gone on a group camping trip with teachers and chaperones to Pinecrest, CA. We take a bus and sleep in tent cabins. We play basketball and go swimming. We hike and paddleboat. We build giant campfires and eat lots of s'mores. It's a formative, memorable, engaging, and fun experience for these kids, many of whom have never left the Bay Area, been away from their families, or gone camping.
Since the last time we were able to go camping in 2019, the cost of transportation has skyrocketed.
We ask our eighth grade families to contribute a modest amount, but most are not able to make enough of a financial contribution to fully pay for their student to make the trip. That's why I'm reaching out to you. Please give what you can for our adventure. Please also know that if you are able to contribute, I promise that your money will help ensure that an exceptionally deserving group of kids have an unforgettable experience in the mountains. Thank you in advance!
