Beanie is our 3-year-old chocolate Lab–Pit Bull mix boy, he's handsome, silly, sweet, and laid-back.
He loves the snow, swimming, nature, and of course, food! Though wary of toddlers, he is patient and gentle enough to tolerate the chaos from our 1-year-old daughter.
CURRENT SITUATION:
Beanie was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called Hemangiosarcoma, which started in his ureter and has spread to his lungs.
He is currently receiving chemotherapy twice a month (approximately $990 per session), which is essential for maintaining his quality of life.
Beanie is only 3 years old and is my daughter’s best friend. He deserves more time with love and health, and a few more belly rubs too. :)
— PREVIOUSLY —
September 2025, Beanie became lethargic and stopped eating. After a series of exams, he was then found to have a large tumor (over 13 cm) in his abdomen, along with a non-functioning kidney.
November 2025, he underwent major surgery (approximately $8,900 which we are still paying off monthly) to remove the tumor as well as one of his kidneys. He made it through the operation, but the biopsy confirmed the tumor was cancerous.
Beanie is a patient at Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, QC (Canada). His veterinarian is Dr. Louis-Philippe de Lorimier.
— HOW DONATION WILL BE USED —
Funds raised will help cover Beanie’s bi-weekly chemotherapy sessions and his daily medications.
Although we’ve been doing our best to care for him, stay positive, and cover his medical costs, chemotherapy is ongoing and essential. We need help to continue paying for it and to maintain his health.
Any contribution truly makes a difference! We are deeply grateful for your support.
Thank you very much in advance.♡
