Ounces Outdoors has been a community-driven beer garden for the past three years, offering a welcoming space for friends, families, and even dogs to gather and enjoy time together. We started Ounces as a way to break free from uninspiring tech jobs, determined to create a place that brought joy not just to us, but to everyone who walked through our gates. During the pandemic, Jojo, Waz, and Abby built Ounces from the ground up—cutting wood, building furniture, and planting every plant by hand. Our open-air space quickly became a favorite spot for locals to relax in the sunshine, enjoy great beer and food, and celebrate life’s moments.


Over the years, Ounces Outdoors has become more than just a beer garden. We’ve watched families grow, celebrated countless birthdays, and even had the honor of being many babies’ first beer garden experience. Our regulars have become friends, and our weekly trivia nights with Tucker have been a highlight for so many. The sense of community here is what makes Ounces special, and it’s what we’ll miss most as we face this unexpected challenge.


Recently, our lease was terminated, and we now have to move and find a new location. The funds raised will help us cover the costs of moving our equipment and developing a new space where Ounces can continue to bring people together. We’re heartbroken to leave our current home, but we’re determined to rebuild and keep our community spirit alive.
