Hi, my name is Lucille, and I’m reaching out for help for my best friend and constant companion, Ouija.

Ouija isn’t just a cat, she’s my family. For the past 11 years, she’s been by my side through every twist and turn of life. Born in Tucson and now a proud LA resident since 2017, Ouija is a ragamuffin calico with a personality as big as her heart. She acts more like a dog than a cat, loves to scream, and charms everyone she meets. If you know Ouija, you know she’s truly one of a kind.

Recently, Ouija was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and a heart murmur. The news has been overwhelming and scary. She’s starting medication that she'll likely need to be on for the rest of her life, but we need to see a veterinary cardiologist to understand what’s happening with her heart and what the future holds. The costs of ongoing medication, specialist visits, and potential treatments are quickly adding up, and I want to make sure she gets the very best care possible.

Ouija has given me unconditional love, comfort, and joy for over a decade. She’s been my rock through life’s ups and downs, and now she needs help from our community. If you’ve ever loved a pet, you know how deep this bond goes.
