Hello, my name is Ouida, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. Just a few weeks ago, I lost my job, and since then, it’s been incredibly hard to keep up with my bills and daily needs. My small business isn’t bringing in enough to cover my expenses, and I’m now at risk of losing my apartment, my car, and everything I’ve worked so hard for. I’m doing my best to stay hopeful and keep searching for work—both in Houston, TX, and for remote opportunities—but right now, it feels almost impossible to manage everything on my own.
