Ottie has been my loyal companion and emotional support animal for the past 10 years. Living with mental health challenges and autoimmune disorders, I rely on him every day for comfort and stability. Recently, I noticed his eye changing color rapidly, and he became so lethargic that he wouldn’t get up to eat, drink, or go outside unless I carried him. I reached out to the vet with my concerns, sending photos and explaining the changes, but the response I received didn’t address the seriousness of the situation. Despite paying for previous testing and checkups, I still don’t have clear answers, and I’m deeply worried about Ottie’s pain and well-being.

I live on disability, which makes it impossible to cover unexpected vet bills. Ottie may have developed glaucoma, which can be very painful and might require surgery to remove his eye, along with ongoing pain medication. He means everything to me, and I can’t imagine life without him by my side.
