Help with Otis' knee surgery

The Columbo family rescued baby Otis "Piggy-boy" back in April 2024 from an abusive situation. He is a 2 year old smushy boy. Otis immediately bonded with our daughter and has become her unofficial "therapy" dog, he never leaves her side!

When Otis came to our family we noticed a limb to his right leg, which resolved intermittently. We put Otis on a healthier diet, added supplements and endless love to give him a safe and happy life.

However, last week, he couldn't weight bear or walk anymore. He spent hours crying and unable to console. We took him to the emergent clinic for urgent care.

Thankfully, he is comfortable with high dose steroids and pain medicine.

Sadly, he has a torn cruciate (ACL) ligament, and a damaged knee cap, additionally they found a heart murmur.

Otis will require surgery for cruciate ligament repair, knee cap replacement, and cardiology clearance prior to surgery.
