Otis is our sweet 5 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer who was recently diagnosed with cutaneous hemangiosarcoma, a rare and malignant form of skin cancer caused by sun damage. At just five years old, Otis is still full of life, love, and energy, and this diagnosis has been devastating for our family.
We have already moved forward with surgery to remove the tumor, doing everything we could as quickly as possible to give Otis the best chance at a long, happy life. While this form of cancer is less aggressive than internal hemangiosarcoma, it can recur and potentially spread, requiring ongoing monitoring and follow up care. Otis also has significant sun related skin damage, which increases his risk for developing additional tumors in the future.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of his surgery and continued veterinary care. Any donation or share helps ease the financial burden and allows us to focus on what matters most keeping Otis healthy, comfortable, and by our side for as long as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Otis.
