Otis is the most gentle boy you could ever meet. We adopted him from BARCS six years ago after he was found living in tough conditions, and since then, he’s brought so much love and joy into our lives. Otis helped a special friend overcome her lifelong fear of dogs, and he helped heal our hearts after the loss of our girl Sadie. He’s also formed a beautiful bond with our other dog, Roxanne, making our family feel complete.
Recently, Otis was diagnosed with T cell lymphoma. It was heartbreaking news, but we’re holding onto hope because this type of cancer can potentially be cured with treatment. Otis had surgery on November 4 to remove a mass from his leg, and while his recovery has been a bit challenging due to his energetic spirit, he’s still as happy and loving as ever. Now, he needs five doses of chemotherapy, along with multiple visits for blood work and evaluations.
We are doing everything we can to give Otis the best chance at a long, healthy life. The cost of his treatment is overwhelming, and we would be so grateful for any support to help us cover these unexpected expenses. Your donation will help us give Otis the care he needs and hopefully many more years of belly rubs, snacks, and love. Thank you for being part of Otis’s journey and for supporting our sweet boy.
