Help Otieno family start a fishing business
Donation protected
Many of you know me and have been a part of our story involving our family friends, the Otieno's, who reside in Kenya.
While Kenya is generally very beautiful, it is also unstable in many ways, profoundly impacting the quality of life; such as unemployment, the weather, clean water, food security and healthcare.
God has always provided for our friends through farming however, in late Summer, their crops were swept away by severe flooding, and now drought is killing off livestock at an alarming rate. Our friend, Peter, has an opportunity that would solve many of the issues his family and community face. Starting a fishing business and purchasing a fishing boat, motor, and all the accessories needed would cost $4500K. He has saved $500 toward this endeavor, which leaves $4K to be desired.
Fishing would boost the economy locally and provide work for himself, others and food for his family and community. He could compete with other fishermen commercially, providing a sustainable income. Fishing would be done daily, and rotating teams of 4 men/women providing an opportunity for greater capacity to fish.
If you want to encourage Peter and his family, please join us in donating. No amount is too small or too generous.
Thank you for taking the time and for your good energy and prayers over this beautiful family! We appreciate you.
