We are raising funds for our friend and teammate Osvaldo Meza and his wife Laura, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Osvaldo is a valued member of our team and a hardworking provider for his family. Right now, he’s facing one of the hardest seasons of his life.
A short time ago, Laura began experiencing serious health issues that led to a series of tests and doctor visits. Recently, she received the difficult news that she has stomach cancer.
The coming months will involve many treatments, frequent appointments, and a lot of time at the hospital. This has been emotionally overwhelming for their family, and it also brings a heavy financial burden.
Even with insurance, cancer treatment is extremely expensive. On top of medical bills, there are many other costs that add up quickly, including:
- Deductibles, co-pays, and medications
- Time off work so Osvaldo can be with Laura during treatment
- Travel and parking for hospital visits
- Everyday expenses like rent/mortgage, utilities, groceries, and childcare
Our goal is to help remove as much financial stress as possible so that Osvaldo and Laura can focus on what matters most: her health and their time together as a family.
All funds raised will go directly to Osvaldo and Laura to help with:
- Medical bills and treatment costs
- Lost income from time off work
- Household bills and essential living expenses
- Any additional care and support Laura needs during treatment
We’ve set an initial goal of $15,000 and we are incredibly grateful for any amount you’re able to give. No gift is too small—every dollar and every share makes a difference.
How you can help
1. Donate if you’re able. Even a small amount goes a long way.
2. Share this GoFundMe with your network—friends, family, coworkers, and community groups.
3. Keep Osvaldo and Laura in your thoughts and prayers and send them encouraging messages. Emotional support matters just as much as financial support.
Osvaldo shows up to work with dedication and a good heart, and now it’s our turn to show up for him and his family. Thank you for standing with them in this difficult time. Your generosity, your shares, and your kind words mean more than you know.
We will post updates here as Laura’s treatment progresses so you can see how your support is helping.
