Oslo is Ian and Teralee’s beloved 8-year-old Vizsla, known for his joyful spirit and loyal heart. On June 21st, what began as a normal day quickly turned into a crisis. Oslo vomited instead of eating, but seemed fine at first. Later, when Ian returned home with Teralee, Oslo greeted them at the door as usual, only to suddenly faint. They noticed his belly was swollen and rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Group Oceanside ER. There, doctors discovered a mass on Oslo’s spleen that was bleeding into his abdomen. He underwent an emergency splenectomy, and the mass is now being tested for cancer. The results are still pending, and the uncertainty has been overwhelming for his family. Oslo is truly the best dog anyone could hope for. Ian and Teralee know everyone says that, but Oslo’s sweet and loyal disposition, his happiness and zest for life, make him a joy to everyone who meets him. The cost of surgery and pathology testing has reached over $16,000, and any follow-up treatments for a positive cancer diagnosis will add to the financial strain. Funds raised will help cover Oslo’s emergency surgery, cancer tests, and any ongoing care he may need. All support is welcomed and appreciated. Please share this fundraiser on all your platforms and spread the word to help a wonderful animal and a caring family. Positive thoughts are always welcome, but financial support is genuinely needed at this time.
