Hi, my name is Oslo. I’m currently homeless after losing my job at a call center for a cable company about two years ago. Since then, I’ve been trying everything I can to get back on my feet, but it hasn’t been easy.

I’ve applied to countless jobs, including places like McDonald’s and Burger King, but I keep running into the same problem. no one wants to hire without experience, and I can’t get experience without being hired. I’ve looked into going back to school, but I wasn’t approved for loans. I’ve also tried gig work like DoorDash, ShiftSmart, and factory jobs, but most applications never lead anywhere.

I’m at a point where I don’t know what else to do, so I’m starting a GoFundMe and asking for help.

My goal is to raise enough to buy a reliable used car, around $7,000, so I can take consistent gig work like Amazon deliveries. Having a car would give me a real chance to earn steady income and eventually afford a small apartment, so I’m not living on the street anymore. Any remaining money would go toward gas and food while I work toward stability.
