Our beloved Oski came into our lives after my mom bravely rescued him from an abusive neighbor. Over the years, we’ve watched him blossom — learning to trust, to play, and to love again.
Recently, we found a small mass on Oski’s lower gum. After surgery and testing, we learned it’s an aggressive but benign cancer that grows from dental tissue. We explored radiation, but with Oski’s intense anxiety and difficulty with sedation, we’ve determined that surgery is the best route for his healing. It will remove part of his jaw and teeth, but will allow him to live a comfortable, pain-free life.
The cost of the surgery + CT scan is about $11,000 and we’re already struggling to pay off the bills from his previous procedures — along with medical care for our senior dog, Pepper, who is also battling cancer.
We’re asking for help to cover some of these medical expenses so Oski can keep living the joyful, trusting life he fought so hard to find.
Every bit of support means the world to us — thank you for helping our sweet boy heal.
