Hi everyone,

Our name is Rachael and Christopher Dew, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Oshane Roberts and his family, who live in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. Recently, Hurricane Melissa tore through their community, leaving behind heartbreaking destruction — homes destroyed and basic necessities lost overnight.

Oshane’s family home was severely damaged by flooding and strong winds, leaving them without reliable shelter, clean water, or electricity. They’ve lost much of what they worked so hard to build. Despite this unimaginable hardship, their spirit remains strong, and they’re determined to rebuild their lives.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

Emergency housing repairs

️ Replacement of essential items (beds, furniture, clothing)

Food and clean water supplies

Every dollar — no matter how small — will go directly to helping Oshane’s family get back on their feet and rebuild. If you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.

Oshane has been a part of our family for over a decade. His daughter lives with his parents in Saint Elizabeth while he works in the states to support them back on the island. He is one of hardest working people we have ever met. Being here while his daughter, parents, and siblings were there was chaos. Getting the call with all the devastation is heart breaking. We want to help by helping them get through this.

Let’s come together and show the Roberts family that they are not alone in this recovery.

Thank you so much for your compassion and generosity.
