Hello, my name is Oscar Montoya. I am turning to GoFundMe for help because of an emergency situation involving my family's living situation and urgent medical expenses. Our family has nowhere to go to get away from our abusive stepfather. We are asking for donations to help us get a place on our own relatively soon. We have been threatened of being kicked out if we don't find a place to live and for too long and it has taken its toll on my mother's mental and physical health, so we are also asking for assistance with medical expenses also. My mother needs medical care for her liver, and she has not been able to go to the doctor in a very long time due to our financial situation. We are not able to qualify for our own medical insurance. My job and my mother's job don't make enough to support us getting a place before we are kicked out. There are no family members or work friends close by who can help us either. It would mean the world and more if anybody could give us a helping hand. Ideally just enough to cover moving out and giving us a boost on my mother's medical needs. This is a really urgent and time sensitive emergency so that is why I am asking for your help. Your donation would be used for securing us an apartment of our own as well as helping my mother get what she needs to survive.
