Oscar's Liver Transplant

Donation protected
The first week of January, our brother Oscar was diagnosed with end stage liver disease. After staying a week at Harlingen Medical Center, he was sent home by the hospital with no hope. Our parents brought him to the emergency room at Houston Methodist Hospital. It was a long, hard drive but he finally made it. He was quickly moved to the Surgical Liver Intensive Care Unit. He was told he would need a liver and kidney transplant. At this point, he is on continuous dialysis. He has many medical bills already and more ahead.

He is a 36 year old hard working son, devoted boyfriend to his lovely girlfriend Chessica, and a loving father to his eight year old daughter, Melanie and four year old daughter, Athena. He has given his life to Christ and is ready to turn his life around. He is willing to do what it takes to live as much of a longer life as possible.  We are in the process of applying for assistance programs and trying to get him insurance.  He has a long physical, emotional, and financial road ahead of him.  If at all possible, we hope you find it in your heart to donate to him and share this with as many people as possible. We pray you never find yourself in a similar situation.  Thank you and God bless.
