My name is Emily C, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart. My older brother, Oscar Silva, was taken from us far too soon. He had just turned 30 — still so young, full of life, and with so much more ahead of him. His death was unexpected and wrongfully done, and our family is still trying to process how something so tragic could happen so suddenly.
Oscar wasn’t just my brother — he was one of a kind, with no father around I grew up seeing him as my father figure. He was funny, goofy, and could make anyone laugh no matter what kind of day they were having. He cared deeply about everyone around him and always went out of his way to help others. Most of all, he was an amazing dad to his two young kids. They were his pride and joy, the reason he worked so hard and the light of his life.
Losing him has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Our family is doing everything we can to give him the farewell he deserves. Any help, whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping us in your prayers, means more than words can express.
We just want to honor Oscar’s memory and keep his spirit alive — remembering the love, laughter, and light he brought into this world.
Thank you all for your kindness, love, and support during this heartbreaking time.
