Hello,

This is Oscar, our 5 month old Border Collie puppy. He is cheeky, playful and full of life, and he has brought us so much happiness since the day we brought him home. Sadly, Oscar has broken his back right knee and needs orthopaedic surgery to give him the chance to walk, run and enjoy life as every puppy should.

The surgery is going ahead regardless, but the cost is very high. We have been quoted £5,000–£8,000, and our insurance will only cover £4,000. This leaves us with a large shortfall, and we are reaching out for help to cover the remaining costs of his operation and recovery.

I am 22 and my partner is 24. We are doing everything we can to support both of our dogs, but the bills are overwhelming. Our other boy, Toby, is an 11 year old Beatzu who is blind and diabetic, and already requires a lot of care. Oscar has become his little shadow, and we want nothing more than for them to enjoy their time together for as long as possible.
