Help Oscar Fight His Battle with Epilepsy

Donation protected
My name is Tina. In 2023 I helped rescue and foster 4 kittens. They were becoming feral. They were like adult cats in little baby kitten bodies. I had to teach them how to trust, how to play, how to love. It was one of my greatest joys to help them live a better life than being homeless. But what they taught me along the way were things I will carry with me forever. When they were ready to leave the nest, I adopted out 2 of the 4, and ultimately the 2 boys let me know that with me they were already home. I promised to take care of them and give them the best life possible. The kittens were named after the Disney movie, The Aristocats. There was Duchess, Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse. Duchess and Marie are now Luna and Leia, and Berlioz and Toulouse are now Oscar and Max. they are just the best boys and have brought great joy to our family.

About 3 days ago my little Oscar was making noises that sounded like he was stressed. Kind of a howling noise, he started drooling and becoming very restless. The episodes seemed random at first, but started happening more frequently. I thought he had eaten something that did not agree with him, but the increased frequency had me worried. Of course it was a Saturday and the animal emergency room was our only option. After many hours and tests they really did not know what was happening, until the doctor witnessed an episode. He seemed to lose vision on one side during the episode and had twitching in his little face along with appearing disoriented. They think he has a form of epilepsy and needed to keep him overnight for IV seizure meds, stabilization. If all goes well I can bring him home with a prescription for medications to be given twice a day. He will also need to see a neurologist for additional testing, MRI, blood work, etc. I know you think I'm crazy, but I cannot give up on him. I love him so very much and I promised him that I would take care of him.

Unfortunately our bill at the medical center is reaching 5K very quickly and I honestly need help. I never thought a two year old cat would have such a serious medical condition, but here we are. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and if you are unable to donate, please keep my Oscar in your prayers. <3
