Hello family, friends, and anyone interested in supporting me!! I am Oscar, and I am currently a junior at MSU Denver, studying Archaeology and History. This summer, I have the amazing opportunity to work on two exciting Archaeology Field Schools! One of them is close to me in Central City, Colorado, and the other is in Cyprus.
Any donations are greatly appreciated, and in return, I plan to share my experiences in the field with all of you who are assisting me in attaining these valuable experiences! The trip to Cyprus alone is around $10,000. Anything above that amount will help fund a trip to the British Museum and possibly to the Smithsonian on my way back from Cyprus, all of which will be documented in pictures and blog posts on Instagram and Substack (both still in development), depending on whether I reach the full goal!
It's been my dream to work in the field, experiencing history in my hands. My father and family have graciously supported my education for the past four years. Still, I am seeking your assistance to fund these opportunities so I can graduate a semester early. Unfortunately, my mother passed away three years ago at the start of my educational journey, so traveling abroad is not an expense I can justify paying alone.
Both of my parents were educators in both Denver Public Schools and Littleton Public Schools, and I see my future in museums as continuing their achievements in education.
