Osbourne and I need your help!

Beginning in Early June I noticed Osbourne had trouble getting up. Over a couple weeks the pain and immobility worsened and now he needs me to lift and carry him around. After 3 vet visits, and $1,200 later, we have been told he needs surgery on both knees. He will be 3 in August.

We were quoted $9,800 - $10,000 for the operation (total for both knees) and the procedure is scheduled for July 17th.

We've been approved for a 12-month, no interest credit card specific to pet medical bills. So I plan to pay this off over the course of a year, but any help you could offer to dent the initial payment & bring my remaining monthly payments down, would be so greatly appreciated.

ALTERNATIVELY, we will be selling a bunch of stuff (FB marketplace & possible yard sale), so if you're around Virginia Beach and would like to help but don't have any extra cash, we will take any donations you think we could sell.

The procedure shown above (TPLO) is NOT what Osbourne's surgeon has opted for as that surgery has a tougher recovery because you are cutting into the weight bearing part of the bone & you can only do 1 leg at a time with 6 months between surgeries.

When a dog needs both knees done, often the course is a TTA Surgery for Dogs which has them walking (but far from recovered) out of surgery. Initial recovery is 8 weeks with the 6 month mark being 'peak recovery'. Our surgeon will be performing this on both knees at the same time.
