Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well, it is me Osama. If you don’t know me, I am a student from Gaza who has successfully evacuated Gaza in order to continue my education. I have been out of Gaza for almost 3 weeks and I’m currently in Istanbul. After being out of the genocide, I started to feel a new type of sadness and anxiety since I left my family behind. I can’t really live normally knowing that my family members could be killed at any moment.

I have been thinking about launching this campaign for a long time, but things have gotten so bad that they pushed me to start it. Ramadan is starting and my family does not have the bare minimum of mental and physical strength to start fasting. My family is 8 members including a 3 year old and a 16 year old, and they are soon to be 9 members as my sister in law is due to give birth at any moment. My parents also cannot get the medications they need for their hypertension. We had hope about a ceasefire before Ramadan but it seems it is not going to happen soon. I feel that getting my family out of this hell is the only option left to save their lives.

Me and my family had been displaced since October 13th and we were forced to relocate more than 4 times. Our house in the Northern part of Wadi was targeted and partially blown up, making it impossible for us to return home even after a ceasefire. After making the dangerous trip to Rafah, we had to go back to the middle area of Gaza due to threats of invading Rafah. Every new place came with different threats and dangers. My family, now back in the middle area, don't have even the most basic things that are needed for any human being.

The money raised here will be used directly to help my family evacuate to Egypt as soon as possible.
