But on the 7th of October, on this fateful date, everything had turned to ashes, and all we could think about was finding a safe area. The safety of oneself and the family became the most important and priority in life, and this war brought us to the point of thinking about food and drink, which had not been available for a period of time.

I cannot count the number of times we have been displaced from our homes to escape the shells, fire, gas bombs, missiles, and destruction next to us.

I cannot describe the horror we were experiencing in every moment of these times.

We were fleeing by ourselves with nothing, and we were leaving everything we owned behind us. During the flight, we were afraid of the scattered fragments of shells that were capable of penetrating the human body and killing him at the same moment.

I displaced to the south with my family, and my fiancée stayed in northern Gaza, and to this day our places are still different. I am in the south and she is in the north, and I pray to God all the time to reunite us and we are fine.

After all the loss, fear and uncontrollable suffering, my apartment was burned down by Israeli army forces, then bombed and completely destroyed. Everything we bought for our future life is gone in a second and in the blink of an eye.

I had a clothing store in my house and I was selling clothes online, but it was burned by the Zionist occupation when they burned our house before destroying it.
