Sister Soumayya from Haiti is homeless with 4 kids and has no shelter and no place to go. We desperately and urgently need 10000 dollars to complete the construction of her home in Haiti.

We reaised 5000 dollars with the help from gofundme patrons and started building a house for her. The pictures show the progress that was made in a very short time. Average cost for building a house in Haiti is about 75000 USD. However since local community members are helping her build a house they are able to complete the entire house with just 15000 USD. We only need to raise 10000 more and sister Soumayya and her 4 kids will have a roof over their head that they can call home.

Many of us have the privilege to return to a home when tired and exhaused from work or to protect ourselves from a cold or rainy day. Sister Soumayya and her kids dont. Let us help her build her the home she deserves and needs.Know that Allah subhanahu wa taala (God Almighty) rewards every penny that you spend for his cause. Surah Baqarah, verse 215, Allah swt says, “Whatever good you spend should be for parents, kinsmen, orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; and whatever good you do, Allah is all-aware of it.”

Prophet Muhammed salallahu alaihi wasallam (s.a.w) (means Peace be upon him) ‘The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this’, and he (s.a.w) held his two fingers together to illustrate. [Bukhari]. He (s.a.w.) also said, ‘The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well-treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill-treated’. [Bukhari]
