We have supported Meraki Children's Ministries International since 2020. There is a current need to replace mattresses and bedding for 6 beds (12 children) along with replacing a bunk bed. The orphanage is in Mityana, Uganda, about 70 miles from the capital.

Jesca, the woman who started it, began by just helping a few children and now cares for over 50 children with nothing but donations and hard work. Jesca has 2 children of her own who she and her husband raise alongside the other children. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 and is being treated with medication after having a tumor removed from her leg last year.
