My name is Erin Miller, and I am raising support for two Ukrainian orphan refugees. Here is their story ...
In 2009 and 2010, two beautiful princesses (Ruth and Esther) traveled from a Ukrainian orphanage to stay with Eric and Erin Miller for a month-long hosting program. The Millers pursued adopting the girls, but it fell through on the Ukrainian side, leaving Ruth and Esther to be raised in an orphanage. The girls found the Millers on social media six years ago, and the Millers have stayed in touch with them ever since. Ruth and Esther still reside in Ukraine and were doing their best to work and pursue college degrees until the Russian/Ukrainian war began. As the Russians moved into their area, the girls had to quickly flee their dangerous Eastern Ukrainian city to find respite in the Western part of their country. They found temporary housing and it may become necessary to move again. Without a family, without jobs, with relocating to a new city, and with residing in a wartime country, Ruth and Esther need help. They have shared that they have only survived because of prayers and financial assistance. Financial assistance goes directly to the girls and allows them to have food and lodging, warm clothes, and a pair of shoes. Crossing a war-torn country has already been traumatizing, and the journey has just begun. Thank you for being a part of easing their financial burden and for helping Ruth and Esther feel loved and supported!
***Update: Ongoing, Ruth and Esther need $600 every month to meet their daily living needs. Although Esther now has a full-time job post graduation, she is only getting paid a very minimal amount due to her refugee status.***
(The names of the girls have been changed to Ruth and Esther for security purposes. All donations will go directly to the girls. All GoFundMe donations will be transferred by Erin directly to Esther. The girls have already benefited from donations. Ruth and Esther have expressed gratitude for donations and are using donations wisely.)
