Help Orion Recover: Support for Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yahna. My partner Gary and I are raising funds to cover the medical expenses for our beloved cat, Orion. Unfortunately, Orion was recently taken to the emergency veterinarian hospital on Saturday, July 13th and diagnosed with a urinary tract obstruction. Apparently, urinary tract obstructions are more common in male cats and often result from anxiety. We suspect that the loud, incessant fireworks before, during, and after the July 4th made Orion feel very anxious and stressed out, which ultimately led to the urinary tract obstruction.
His hospital stay involved receiving an urinary catheter, an IV, intensive blood work, and around the clock care for 3 days. He was released from the hospital on Monday, July 15th and is on the road to recovery, however, my partner and I still have to foot a hefty medical bill just under $5,000 due to the extended hospital stay and all of the treatments/procedures.
We are asking for your assistance to raise funds to cover the medical expenses from his hospital stay, prescription refills, and a year supply of cat food specialized for urinary health, as recommended by the doctor to prevent any reoccurrence of this condition. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be helpful supporting Orion's recovery. Thank you for your help and for taking the time to read this message. Please share this fundraiser to help raise awareness. Thank you!
