Help Origin Of Styx Pay Medical Bills

Hello! My name is Ethan, and I am the mind behind the Origin Of Styx dark ambient, industrial, doomcore music project.

I created my music project Origin Of Stx when I was 15 as a way of helping me process what I was going through at that time (suffering from chronic fatigue, brain fog, insomnia, depression, etc). As I got older, I continued using this music project to document my experience living with these ongoing problems. My symptoms were progressive, so I grew up into this progressively worse "mental fog". It had to reach the point where my health completely collapsed like a house of cards before I found out that all of these symptoms were being directly caused or exacerbated by sleep apnea.

I spent over a year living completely like a chronic illness patient, undergoing a non-surgical palate expansion procedure followed by a double jaw surgery to expand my airway. Unfortunately, I got poor results from both procedures. My situation improved enough to give me the mental functionality to take the next steps forward in my treatment (as opposed to commiting suicide, which is where I was mentally before these operations). But right now I am still suffering from ongoing breathing problems that are severely impacting my quality of living.

In order to fully resolve these breathing issues, I will need to undergo the following operations. Unfortunately due to problems with the American Health"care" system, the best chance I have at getting insurance coverage is to pay the out of pocket costs, then try to get a percentage of the cost reimbursed back through my insurance company through an appeal process. Money is the very last concern to me (I have a bright future, and I wouldn't put a value on my life) but out of pocket costs could be upwards of $100,000. These are the procedures I will need:

-EASE surgical operation to maximize expansion of the nasal airway (~$30,000)

-Maxillomandibular Advancement Revision (~$70,000)

ANYTHING I COULD POSSIBLY ACCOMPLISH IN LIFE DEPENDS ON MY ABILITY TO PROPERLY BREATHE IN MY SLEEP.

By donating money, you are allowing me to start my music career so I can return the favor by producing a larger quantity of higher-quality music. The goal is to then become a touring DJ so I can share my *original* music with people all over the world.

By donating money you are also helping me spread awareness about sleep-disordered breathing and the epidemic of underdeveloped jaws, so other people with these problems can be helped and (hopefully) won't have to go through what I had to go through.
