Help Comrade Heal from Gender Affirming Surgery

UPDATE: Our friend is healing from follow-up surgery due to complications from the initial procedure. They are unable to pay rent in October due to their LIHEAP benefits being cut, and are largely relying on community financial support until they are able to return to work. Please consider contributing to this fund to get them through this difficult time! A formerly incarcerated core organizer with Philadelphia Community Bail Fund recently received gender-affirming surgery and needs support for his recovery. Due to post-op complications including an underlying seroma, he is unable to go back to work for another few weeks. He needs funds to pay rent and bills until he can go back to work. Let's help get our friend and comrade back on his feet so he can take care of himself and continue to work with PCBF to end cash bail in Philadelphia.
