Hi, my name is Raphaela , and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved dog Oreo. He’s been my loyal companion for the past 9 years, and recently, he's been showing signs that something is wrong.

After noticing changes in his behaviour and health—increased thirst, increased urination and excessive hair loss I took him to the vet. They now suspect he may have Cushing’s Disease or possibly a liver condition from a general blood test Oreo had. We’re still in the diagnostic phase, and the costs are quickly adding up.

The tests needed to confirm a diagnosis are expensive (including blood work, ultrasounds, and an ACTH test), and if Cushing’s is confirmed, long-term medication and monitoring will be necessary. If it turns out to be liver disease, treatment could involve even more specialized care.
