Oreo is a young rescue cat who has already endured more pain and hardship than any animal ever should.

In November 2025, Oreo was found on the streets of Abu Dhabi, dragging himself across the ground, unable to walk. He had suffered multiple fractures and was in terrible pain. He was immediately rushed to the vet, where he underwent two major surgeries to repair his broken bones.

From that day on, Oreo began a long and difficult road to recovery.

For months, he fought through pain, medical treatments, and rehabilitation. Thanks to dedicated rescuers, vets, and foster care, Oreo slowly healed. Today, he is healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start a new life — something that once seemed impossible.

Oreo is just over one year old. He is still a baby, with his whole life ahead of him.

Sadly, adoption opportunities for cats like Oreo in the UAE are extremely limited. Arabian Mau cats — especially non-fluffy, adult cats — are often overlooked and unfairly seen as “just stray cats.” Despite his sweet nature and incredible survival story, Oreo has no real chance of being adopted locally.

But there is hope.

A loving forever home is waiting for Oreo in Germany, where he will finally be safe, cherished, and treated as family. Everything is ready — except for the funds needed to get him there.
