Oreo is my 7-year-old tuxedo kitty and my whole heart. He’s not just a pet—he’s my emotional support baby and my lifeline. Recently, Oreo collapsed on our kitchen floor and let out a distressed meow that broke my heart. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they discovered he has pleural effusion—fluid in his chest that needs to be drained and tested. The test alone is very expensive, and after already spending so much on X-rays and blood work at two different vets, I simply can’t afford it.

Oreo means everything to me. My husband and I can’t have children, so Oreo is truly our child. Not knowing what’s wrong or how to help him is devastating. The funds raised here will go directly toward the testing Oreo needs to get a diagnosis. With answers, we can finally start treatment and give him the best chance at recovery, instead of repeating more X-rays and blood work while his condition worsens.
