Hey guys, as a lot of you may know Opie is 5 months old now, and he developed an infection when he was just 9 weeks old. We immediately got him emergency care, but he was not treated properly, and the negligent practice lead to a massive infection in his head. Opie's head has abscessed 5 times now, we have gone through 4 surgeries where they have put drains in, removed very abnormal infected tissues, and taken cultures. Opie has lived most of his life so far being in a cone with a reoccurring infection that the vets around here say they cannot treat any further. At this point, he needs a specialist in Davis. They believe he may have a festering infection in his sinuses and he needs CT scans and possibly sinus surgery. We have exhausted our own funds, maxed out Care Credit twice and at this point need any help we can get so he can be seen in Davis.
