My name is Ophelia and I'm a 28-year-old mom of two girls. I was a passenger in a serious accident in Atlanta. Immediately, I underwent emergency surgery after suffering broken ribs, multiple breaks of my pelvis, and a head injury. At present, a little over a week later, I am still in the hospital. I truly thank God for sparing my life for my girls alone. However, I have been informed by my doctors that I will go home in a wheelchair for an extended time. So, I must face the reality that I will not be able to go back to work anytime soon.
