My name is Lynn and I am asking for donations to help me get a wheelchair for my beautiful dog Ophelia.

She has recently lost the use of her back legs, and I am trying with all my might to keep her going by carrying her in a sling in, out and around, but it is wreaking havoc on my body since I already have a back injury myself. Also, she has no freedom to move around, unless I’m able to do it for her.

She is about 65 pounds, and it’s just impossible to continue.

She is still very viable and healthy other than this physical challenge and she needs this help; we both do.

I have ordered less expensive wheelchairs, and they are impossible to get her into since I’m doing it myselfand the quality is just not there. I’ve returned them all.

After much research and talking to my veterinarian, this wheelchair company is the only one I have found that has easy loading. That’s so important when you’re the only one doing it and your dog is 65 pounds! My veterinarian also recommended this one out of all of them.

Without me purchasing this, the only other option I will have is to choose euthanasia. I just cannot pick her up to get her out and around the house anymore.

It breaks my heart to think I would have to lose her just because her legs don’t work when the rest of her is just fine. She has been by my side for all these years and literally saved my life. I owe it to her to do everything I can.
