Help Save Ophelia – Emergency Leg Amputation Surgery

Just a few days ago, Ophelia was fighting to survive on the streets.

When she was rescued, she weighed only 1.7 kg (3.7 lbs). She was so thin that every bone in her body was visible. It was impossible to look at her without wondering how long she had been suffering alone.

Despite everything she has been through, Ophelia is one of the sweetest cats you could ever meet. She is gentle, trusting, and still looks at people with hope.

After a full veterinary examination, we received heartbreaking news. Ophelia has severe dental disease, anemia, an ear infection, and a badly damaged leg that must be amputated. Without surgery, she will continue to live in constant pain.

Her first day of emergency veterinary care included bloodwork, X-rays, diagnostic testing, hospitalization, pain management, and medications. She still has a long road ahead of her.

Ophelia now urgently needs leg amputation surgery, followed by medications, follow-up visits, and weeks of recovery. We are hoping to raise $3,000 to help cover her emergency surgery and ongoing medical care.
