Invest in our vision to bring Montessori education to the Roxbury community.
From this year's 2020 Giving Tuesday through the end of December, we are asking the community to invest in the Mission and Vision of Roxbury Roots Montessori, Inc.
We are in the home-stretch, raising our $10,500 to help fund opening costs, scholarships for deserving families, and overall realizing the goal of bringing high-quality, affordable Montessori to Roxbury.
Final Opening Costs:
$3,000 Furniture
$3,00 Family Assistance/Scholaships
$4,000 Montessori Materials
Our Mission Statement
Roxbury Roots Montessori, Inc. seeks to offer an affordable, child-centered, authentic, high-quality, African-centered, Montessori program in Roxbury--an historically underserved community.

Our Vision
Roxbury Roots Montessori, Inc. is a member of the Wildflower Schools Network, serving children aged 2.9 through 6-years-old. Our school is unique, in that we offer an African-centered curriculum-based within the Montessori pedagogy. Our vision is to bring high-quality, affordable, Montessori education to the Greater Boston area. As a community-based program, we aim to work closely with parents, Roxbury community members, and the Wildflower network to expose children to languages and positive images of peoples from the Black diaspora, thus instilling a sense of pride and empowerment in our students.

Together, we can reimagine education and the communities we are leaving for our children- one investment dollar at a time.
