Our mission has always been supporting small-scale agriculture in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and giving our community access to locally grown and raised food, seven days a week.
After three years in our small storefront, we are ready to GO BIG and expand our reach to an even larger part of Baltimore: the newly renovated historic Cross Street Market.
By providing these funds, you will help us open right, with a store full of inventory, and all the trappings of a larger-scale market, including shopping carts, fresh flowers, and more.
Our way of operating has always been collaborative and creative, and as a relied-upon member of a twice-flooded town we have provided refuge, free food, grief counseling, and fund-raisers for our beloved neighbors.
Now we are asking you, our customers, friends, family, and supporters, to help us by throwing a few dollars in to keep this work growing.
We are slated to open on November of this year, in a gorgeously renovated anchor spot, complete with a full kitchen. To say we are excited is an understatement. We are honored and humbled to join the legacy of Cross Street Market.
But we DO need your help. We want to provide tons of produce to Federal Hill and all of those who are popping in from other neighborhoods. But it's going to take resources. Even if you are able to provide a very small amount, you have helped, and we will always be grateful.
Every dollar, even those that surpass our goal, will be used to make the store even better. And help support our family in the transition.
