My name is Alisa Marie, and I’m the founder of Cauldron & Quill—a dream that’s been years in the making. After countless hours of planning, saving, and building this business with intention, I’ve reached a critical point in bringing it to life. Recently, an investor unexpectedly backed out, and several startup costs came up all at once. I had prepared carefully, but that sudden shift left a gap I couldn’t close on my own without slowing or compromising the opening. Rather than give up or cut corners on something meant to serve my community well, I decided to reach out for support. This moment felt like choosing resilience over pride—believing that asking for help can be part of building something meaningful. With the right support right now, I can move forward with confidence and open this space the way it was always intended.
The funds raised will go directly toward the final startup costs needed to open Cauldron & Quill with care and intention. This includes essential equipment, initial inventory, and supplies, as well as covering early operating expenses like rent and payroll during the opening phase. More specifically, support will help with coffee and beverage equipment, smallwares, ingredients for house-made syrups and menu items, cups and service supplies, and ensuring staff is properly trained and supported as we open our doors. These funds will also help create a stable first month of operation so the business can start strong rather than struggle out of the gate. Every contribution helps remove financial pressure at a critical moment and allows me to focus on building a welcoming, thoughtful space for the community—one that’s sustainable, warm, and built to last.
If you’re reading this, thank you. Truly. Even taking a moment to learn about this journey means more than you know. Supporting Cauldron & Quill isn’t just about helping open a coffee shop—it’s about believing in spaces that bring people together, encourage creativity, and offer a sense of belonging. It’s about choosing community, connection, and kindness in a world that often moves too fast. Whether you contribute, share this page, or simply send encouragement, please know you are part of this story. Every bit of support reminds me that determination doesn’t exist in isolation—and that brighter days are built together. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking alongside me on this journey. I can’t wait to welcome you into the space you helped create. With gratitude, Alisa Marie
